1-2 Day South Beach Miami Travel Guide

• On day two, head straight down Alton Road to Miami Beach Marina for a chartered boat ride with Aquarius Boat Tours. Seeing South Beach from the water takes your Miami experience to a whole new level. Pass by luxurious hotels and waterfront villas, then anchor at a pristine island or sandbar only accessible by boat.
• Back on land, head toward Lincoln Road Mall and enjoy a late, leisurely lunch with a side of people-watching at one of the many cafés lining the promenade. Issabella’s, MILA, and Havana 1957 are local favorites.

3-4 Day South Beach Miami Itinerary

A few more days of vacation means time to venture to several of the cultural cornerstones of life in Miami. Lace up your sneakers; you’ll get a lot of steps in.

• Start at Little Havana with cafécitos (Cuban coffees) from all-day Café Versailles. Then, take a guided tour of the neighborhood, where Latin culture thrives in its history, artistic, and culinary offerings.
• Lunch at Old’s Havana Cuban Bar & Cocina includes live music, bartenders happily shaking up mojitos, breezy patio seating, and friendly service. You can’t go wrong with a Cubano (Cuban sandwich) and the croquettes.
• Keeping up with the culture mission, head to stylish Wynwood and set out on a walking tour of the Wynwood Walls - a collection of massive murals by some of the world’s best street artists. Tired feet? Make it a golfcart tour.
• Wynwood has some of Miami’s hottest new restaurants, so don’t miss out. Doya (Mediterranean & Middle Eastern), Pastis (French) and Uchi (sushi) are excellent dinner options in Wynwood.
• Spend the last morning of your trip back in South Beach with breakfast at Café Bastille (avocado toast, eggs benedict, and more), followed by jet skiing at Miami Beach Marina.

• Bringing the fam? Excellent. Your dream family-friendly Miami itinerary begins at Jungle Island, an eco-adventure park for all ages. • In the afternoon, beat the heat at the Miami Children’s Museum, where exhibits like the glass lab, the cruise ship, the castle of dreams, and the multi-sensory room entertain visitors for hours. The kids can even burn some afternoon energy on their outdoor playground.

Romance Awaits in South Beach
